Oh my goodness, Kim! Take heart. Spring is wrestling with winter and it will win the match sooner or later. In the meantime we're all cheering for it. At least Miko is enjoying this. He looks so cozy all wrapped up in that last pic.

Lady Jane- that is my song in my head lately "spring will come, I just know it" :) I hope this weather is not coming your way too!! hugs to you ♥

Lucille-can you believe it? Spring and winter are having quite the tiff this year :) Miko LOVES the snow so he's quite happy that his deck has a fresh layer. He sends you doggy kisses ♥

Oh yes, Kim, this would try anyone's patience! This snow MUST be the last of it! Got anything fun you can do while you wait for it to thaw out? ;-) xo Jennifer

Well, I was going on a road trip to visit my family this weekend-but now I've cancelled that :( I have a couple of miniature kits that I have been working on so maybe I'll be able to finish them-because I am surely not one of those people that loves to be outside in this :) hugs to you Jennifer ♥

Hi Kim, are you still have snow over there ??? :-(
Fortunately your dog likes it, how cute it looks, getting dry again; wrapped in the towel.
I hope spring will reach your garden soon :D

Kim said...

Hi Liduina! We usually would not have this much snow this late in the year. It should be rain-but it has been cold here still. Miko does like it so much-he is like a child playing in it and eating it as fast as he can-lol. thank you for your spring wishes-hugs to you♥

It is absolutely incredible, I do not know how hot the weather would normally be with you, but spring is late all over Europe. We now have spring here in Denmark, but it is delayed a 4 weeks or so.
Great, Miko enjoying it.
Hugs

Hi Wyrna :) We should be a bit warmer than this here too- I think by now we should have grass that is starting to get green and buds on the trees and bushes. It is hard to get too annoyed when you see how much Miko loves it:)

hugs to you too!

Kim, what happened with spring? So much snow on this april day??!! Here in The Netherlands spring came on last monday, much too late! Now we have enjoyed some warm days, but it gets a bit colder the weatherforecast say :(! Allthough it was a bit warmer it didn't rain in this region and now we have a heavy drought. I don't know if it is global warming or...!
Keep on smiling: spring has to come, I am sure of.
Warm hugs, Ilona

Hi Ilona :) The weather is quite strange this year-I also wonder if it is global warming. We need to take better care of our planet-that is for sure :) I almost don't care about the snow as much as that I miss the sun :) Hope you get some gentle spring rains soon- drought is as bad as snow in April! warm hugs back to you ♥

In Sweden we call it, "April Weather". Wich means that everything can happen in April with the weather = rain, snow, sun into a mixed alternatly.

We also say that a person who often dramatically change their minds and do things you would not expect, is like a April weather.

I don't believe it!! Here in Spain today was hot (30ºC)! Of course, you need a lot of patience... summer will go soon, you'll see!! A big hug

Kim said...

April weather! Now I will know what to call it :) I admit that where I live this can sometimes happen in April-but usually not this much snow. Usually for us it is an inch or two that melts quickly. Oh well- my garden is getting good moisture-and we had a dry fall, so that is good :)

hugs to you Lil!!

Kim said...

Hi Paky :) Would you please push those warm breezes my way :) I agree with you-summer will win in the end. hugs back!!♥

Just when you thought you might be able to get into the garden, Mother Nature goes on a holiday. I hope you get spring soon.

Kim said...

Thanks Wendy :) I guess I have a good excuse to get some craft and mini things done this weekend :)

OH NO honey!.. I saw that massive storm heading in the middle, they said flooding for most..but that means snow for the rest ;(

You just need a couple of days of sunny and it will melt that stuff quick!

hugs..and crossing fingers for sun!

Hi Kim! How discouraging it is when what you have planned has to be changed because of the vagaries of the weather! Here on the west coast of Canada, the weather has literally blown hot and cold all in the same day! We have had bitter cold right on the heels of some almost summer- like heat and then back to wet misty misery as if the sun had never happened at all. I have been wearing a toque and a quilted jacket inside the house and still I caught a cold! Nevertheless, I am happy to hear that you got some mini work done after being confined to quarters. That is a good way to feel productive during your unforeseen hibernation.

I wish you could send us some of your snow! The children will adore it.
Yes I know it's no fun when you get to much of it.
Your dog is adorable.

It does look so beautiful and I love snow but enough must be enough. How frustrating for you, since you are such a wonderful gardener. It will disappear very quickly with the warmer weather I'm sure. So glad Miko likes the snow. Mini Hugs, Jean
